Two players, one standard 52-card deck, no turns. This table uses the 20-card variant: each player starts with 5 in hand and 15 in stock. Two face-up center cards and two reserves of 5 use the remaining 12 cards.
Select a hand card, then a highlighted center pile to play one rank higher or lower than its top card. Suits and colors do not matter. Aces connect to both Kings and 2s. Equal ranks cannot be played.
After a play, your hand automatically refills to five while stock remains. The computer plays simultaneously at the selected pace; if its move changes a pile, your play is checked against the new top card.
Only when BOTH players are blocked can you flip fresh center cards from the two reserves. Exhausted reserves are rebuilt by shuffling the played center cards, keeping each top card in place.
First to empty both hand and stock wins the round and scores one point for every card the opponent still holds in hand and stock. First to 25 points wins the match. A position with no legal plays and no recyclable reserve cards is a draw.
Pause stops both players. Change computer pace before a round or while paused. No wagering; scores last while this page is open.
